Why ExpoLaunch Became NativeLaunch

Why the Name Change?

Some of you noticed that our project was originally called ExpoLaunch. To be honest, when I first picked that name, I didn’t expect it could become an issue — it felt natural since the whole starter kit is built on top of Expo. But recently, I received a kind request from the Expo team asking me not to use their brand name in my product title.

NativeLaunch

Introducing NativeLaunch 🚀

Out of respect for their brand and to avoid confusion in the community, we decided to rename the project.

The new name is NativeLaunch. We believe it reflects the same mission:

  • Helping developers launch their React Native apps faster
  • Providing production-ready architecture out of the box
  • Making it easier to go from idea → published app

Nothing changes in terms of functionality, features, or support — just the name.

What’s Next?

  • All documentation has been updated to NativeLaunch
  • The GitHub repo, website, and store now reflect the new name
  • If you purchased under the old name, nothing changes for you — your access and updates remain the same

Thank you for supporting the project. The name may be new, but the mission is the same — help you launch faster with React Native 🚀
